Bouncing Back

Well, I made it through my appointments, and even into work, before the wonkiness went full force on me. I headed home and crawled into bed next to my sick husband. Eric had it much worse than I did - he spent a full 21 hours in bed, and was pretty low-key yesterday too. I missed one full day of work, felt okay, but worn out yesterday. Guess what? It turns out at least eight people from the party all came down with it. I guess you could say lots of people got a little present at my surprise party! This happened to us a few years ago at another Run Club party - several of us became ill within 36 hours of that party too. From what I've been told that is too long of a time frame for a food borne illness, so it was probably a virus both times.

The good news is we both felt good enough to run today. A little heavy-legged but good to go. Hopefully we will both be fully recovered for next week's little mountain run.

My last post prompted Jessica to publicize her blog - pop on over there and let her know how great she is! She's the runner I quoted in my last entry and deserves lots of kudos for coming so far in a year!

Glad to hear you're on the mend! It's going around here, too.

Take care, Michelle, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

We are both fine. Robin is sick with a cold, yesterday was hopefully the worst. He thinks he got it from his friend Tiffany.

Glad you feel on the mend and hope to see you soon. I hear dinner is in the works, but that is all I get told around here.

Be Free,
Lorri

Glad everybody is recovering. It crossed my mind to think that is one virus that doesn't get spread on internet.
Wishing you all well.

Hope you both are feeling better, and take it easy on those runs.

I was going to bring up that our running club must have a weak immune system or something, but I won't, or maybe I just did. Glad to hear everyone is on the mend.

That must have been a super virus to take you both out like that. Good job on overcoming it!

Thanks! Yes, birthday.
Insignificant number.
Wow, it is good more and more women are getting off the couch.. but then it does make the competition tougher.
I win the most age-group awards when nobody else shows up.
