Bridge Run & A Sparkly New Website
First, check out the very cool new website and logo design by Marathon Maniac #338, Steve Walters, aka, Marathon Freak. He was feeling a bit bored last weekend, and came up with this!
And, here are some photos from our run across the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge last weekend. The old one was built in 1950 to replace the original, fondly known as Galloping Gertie. You can also enjoy a glimpse of a lovely summer day in the Pacific Northwest - just look at those gray skies!

Great pictures, great website - it's all great! :)
Aren't you glad the sun has finally returned? Finally - summer in the NW!
Love the new website! I don't miss those gray coastal skies. At least in Central Oregon, we get sun a little more frequently. :)
The website and logo are cool. So is the bridge. Six years or so to bring it to completion?
I love that they have lanes across the bridge for runners and cyclist. They just don't do that here....
Great website, makes me want to fly over and run. Speaking of flying over and run, who is that that ran the Hamburg (Germany) marathon in April? I want to run there next year (if my wife lets me).
The website is great! Are you going to make it an annual event? :)
Loved the bridge pictures.
Love the new website as well :) So Starbucks :P
With that snazzy website it sure looks like an official race. I'm sure you'll have people flying in from all over the country. Looks like I'll have to run over that bridge sometime.
Your bridge pictures take my breath away!!
Michelle's Marathon web site is very nifty. Be prepared for an amazing turn-out.
Super cute website, way to combine both of your favorite hobbies, running and drinking coffee. :)
That bridge is pretty spiffy!

Cool website! Gotta love the PNW summers...gray and cool one day, 100 degrees the next! : )
Love the photos!
And, umm duh, the website too! :)
The new web is sparky, and I love the bridge pictures - even though don't like the idea of running on it myself:)
Great website and very beautiful photos. When will I be able to run on a bridge like that (in other words: when near Roma a bridge like that will be built?)
