A, B, C and D

a) For Jenny: the sign off should be reminiscent of the sign off for the The News from Lake Wobegon from a Prairie Home Companion. I love those endings.

b) Check out the weight loss register on the sidebar! That's right 1.5 pounds the first week. Actually, it was 3.5 pounds, but 2 pounds of that was the weight gain I get after taking Scaps during a run. I seem to hang on to the extra for about a week, then it miraculously disappears overnight. I've done really well on eating healthy foods all week, and haven't even wished for the bad stuff. I even (gasp!) passed on the Dove chocolates at the staff meeting today. I did however, have a freshly baked homemade chocolate chip cookie. That's because I can stop at one of those, but I tend to become a chain-eater when Doves are involved.

c) I ran the hill run plus an extra hill with Rick yesterday. Total: 7 miles. Rick was waiting out front again this morning - he ran 5 with me, and I continued on for a total of 7.5. I am feeling strong and good right now.

d) My post is in this format because I've been working on work documents all day, and it just seemed like the thing to do.

a)You eat Doves? Is that something you learned from Ozzy?

b)I've been eating food all week too!

c)Good job with your weight loss goal. I'm jumping on the scale tomorrow morning.

a)Ozzy is cool, but a little scary.

b)I've been picking up the slack for any food that you are not eating and added the 1.5 pounds to my waist line that you apparently lost. Thanks for that!

c)I threw my scale out the window this morning after I noticed it was obviously trying to upset me.

d)Thank you for clarifying why you were writing in this format. I thought you might have lost it.

Peace out my POMT sister!

402- you are SOOO brave to put your weight loss actually on your blog. I don't think I could do that.

I've ate all the chocolate you didn't in the form of M and M's and I've told myslef that I've been carbo loading for the 20 miler with all the peanut butter girl scout cookies I've eaten this week!

See you soon.
Signing off, form Appelland where the house is a mess and the children are loud and I just want to sleep!

Good job on the foodie stuff. Not being one that likes chocolate AT ALL, I'm not tempted by that. But trust me, even not liking chocolate, you find about 1,000 other things you do!

Love the sign off! :)

Ah, the outline format! Short and sweet. Back to excellent form for more racing, eh? Woo hoo! Good for you. Keep giving your extra weight to Rob.

I lost 13 lbs since December and stopped, but happy with the outcome. Yesterday I had to saw in all my pants I bought after the trip to Russia (note to self: don't buy a whole new wardrobe when at peak of the scale).
Love the sign-off:)

your closing was cute, but I don't think you are that slow.

Congrats on the weight loss and resisting those doves!

Congrats on the weight loss. And, I can't believe you passed up Dove - I love Dove dark chocolate!

And I love your sign off and love your blog. I don't understand the Prairie Home Companion and why people love it though.

Congrats on the weight loss!

I always gain a few lbs after a long (20+) run too. And then it drops a few days later. I hadn't considered it might be the S-caps. hmmmm
