UWR Pictures

I can't figure out how to easily add captions, so you get a string of pictures that I hope are self-explanatory. I added the blurry close-up of Jenny and I just so you could see the Space Needle in the background. That was the only shot that it showed. And yes, that's me, exhausted, in a chair at Starbucks after. Too tired to even have a drink.

I feel great today. My quads and hips are a little stiff, but I was able to teach Pilates and go up and down stairs with ease. Yesterday I didn't think I'd be able to move today, but I feel better than after Portland. I am taking one more day of rest, then it's back on the roads on Wednesday.

Thanks for all your wonderful comments and support - you are the best!

Ok, now I am really jealous, but happy for all of you. Great pictures. It looks like you were all having fun. Let me know tomorrow if you want to run an easy 3 or 4 on Wednesday morning.

Where are the blister shots? I see standards are slipping already.

Just kidding. If you're able to walk up and down stairs with ease already, you must have recovered amazingly well.

Michelle,
Great pictures and great blog. I enjoyed reading it as always. Also, I tried to answer your questions about E-caps, S-caps, nutrition on my comment section of my blog. Again, do what works for you. Practice in training first. Never try anything new on race day. That is the key. Practice, practice, practice. Then on race day you will have a great time!

Great pictures! Except for the last one, which made me chuckle, you look like you were having fun out there. : ) Sounds like your recovery is going very well! Keep on doing what you're doing, because you're obviously doing something right!

Very cool pictures! That sidewalk you are running on with the city behind you - I was on the same sidewalk about a month ago when I visited Seattle :)

Michelle- it's Tuesday Morning and somehow ilucked out as Sumner schools are closed due to flooding, so I went out for a run in the rain! I felt really good. Three miles and all went well! Hope you are feeling good today too. Thanks for the photos. I copied some that Eric didn't get on my camera. See you soon!

A great bunch of runners there. You're right that you look a bit sluggish in the chair at Starbucks. Sheesh, must be a nice one with the plush chairs and all. We get bench seats out of an old school bus up here...green vinyl. Cold on the butt.

Great pix, Michelle. What a cool course to have that pathway all that distance!! Complete with "golden leaves" at places. Awesome.

As Sarah said, keep doing what you are doing, 'cause it is working!!

Thanks for taking the time to post the photos. And, for the last one, so we know you are human!!!

Let us know how Eric is feeling after AL.
